Help me choose a wireless card!!!

I'm replacing my internal wireless NIC
I've narrowed it down to two cards:
Atheros AR9382
or...
Intel Centrino 6300

Choose the Intel only if you have three antennas, since it is a 3x3 card.
The Atheros is 2x2 (two antennas).

Your Internet speed is usually limited by the Internet Service Provider's technology and speed-caps based on what grade of service you pay for.

The WiFi speed is, or certainly should be, far greater and not the limitation.

Both cards are decent - I like the Atheros cards for Linux, but Intel's drivers there are good as well.

If dual-band is a priority, make sure that the Atheros based card supports it, not all do.

The intel 6300 is 3*3/Dual-Band out of the box, but make sure you have the antennas...
