    Thanks Merlin. I noticed that this happens also with WPA2 off. Basically the router cannot connect more than 32 devices on a single radio it seems, even if the traffic is low. Is this something I can change in the source of again closed source? Any way around it? thanks

    Hi I'm my Asus RT-AC3200 (380.59b1 firmware) for a local hotspot but I see that as soon as any of the 3 radios reaches 32 authorized clients it blocks any further WPA2-Personal connections even if the CPU is nearly idle and there is very little load on the network.     I will. I also narrowed it down to some interference with USB 3.0 which raises the noise floor a lot. in some cases even to -70dBm which is a lot.     unfortunately I need both.. I forced the channel width to 20 MHz in the GUI and it went a lot better (even if it was already at 20 MHz but in 20/40 MHz settings). Problem is that then I forced it to 40 MHz and it still ran fine. Then back to 20/40 and still fine. Doesn't seem to be anything...

    no change unfortunately. Looks like there is something wrong with netatalk. Can I disable the module so it is not compiled? If yes, what's the cleanest way of doing it? I don't need compatibility with Macs What system are you using for compiling the code? EDIT: Also testing with Ubuntu 14.04...
