    Dear OzarkEdge, Many thanks for the tips! I did try all of these - to no avail. Unfortunately the problem persisted... The router is under warranty (according to Asus's automatic check, but haven't yet gotten confirmation from them), but I'd like to iron it out with some help from this forum...
