Plex.tv: Connect on Wired, Can't connect on Wifi?

I've switched to a new session with Firefox and it's still the same error on wifi. However, it looks like enabling Adaptive QoS seems to be the problem. I'm not sure what's going on, but toggling it disrupts the connection to plex for some reasons.

Plex.tv: Connect on Wired, Can't connect on Wifi?

I have a RT-AC3100 router running Merlin 386.11. When a windows laptop is connected via a cable, the laptop can load https://plex.tv in Chrome. When I pull the cable and connect to the router's wifi, Chrome cannot connect to https://plex.tv, times out and reports ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. I can't...

YazFi: Guest Networks and DNS Director?

Thanks for your help bennor. Am I the only person experiencing this problem?

YazFi: Guest Networks and DNS Director?

Yes. Wouldn't I see a mysterious device the YazFi client connection page? I see the same MAC address when it's connected the guest networks. Better yet, I used Quad 9: 1. In DNS Director, I specified Quad9's 9.9.9.9 in user defined DNS 3 slot. 2. In DNS Director, I set the device to use...

YazFi: Guest Networks and DNS Director?

That's correct, I'm using DNS Director to specify DNS servers for only some of the devices. Any device not listed in DNS Director uses the Global 'router' setting, which in the WAN settings is Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 (testable here: https://one.one.one.one/help/) So it looks like guest networks...

YazFi: Guest Networks and DNS Director?

Here is my set-up: 1. I have DNS Director set to use OpenDNS Home Server. 2. I have guest network set to my LAN IP 192.168.1.1 for its DNS entry in YazFI. Here is my test: I use an `ipconfig /all` to verify the DNS server is set to 192.168.1.1 and I browse to https://welcome.opendns.com/...

YazFi: Guest Networks and DNS Director?

I have upgraded to the latest asuswrt merlin 386.11 and YazFi v4.4.3 and I still cannot control DNS of guest networks through DNS director. I need DNS director to control the DNS regardless of which network the device is using. Right now, no matter what I configure for the device in DNS...

YazFi: Guest Networks and DNS Director?

I'm using 386.5.2. Post has been edited to fix that. Regardless, you're correct I'm using an old build. It wasn't clear from reading the changelogs that this could be a bug fixed in an upgrade.

YazFi: Guest Networks and DNS Director?

I have an Asus RT-AC3100 with 386.5.2. I'm using guest networks to isolate some devices and the DNSFilter feature to use OpenDNS to block some websites. DNSFilter works as expected on the main network, but does not work when I move a device over to the any of the 3 guest networks. Also, I can...

How to easily switch between TorGuard's dedicated IPs?

I'm about to sign up with TorGuard for its dedicated IP for streaming services. The windows client has a UI that allows you to select which IP you're using, but I'll be using the streaming IPs on non-windows devices so I won't have access to that app. Right now I need to configure this for a...

    More than 3 Guest Networks?

It looks like the max number of guest networks is 3. Having 3 seems arbitrary and I can't find any documentation or posts that explains the rational. I'm confused since it seems more natural (especially with IoT) that this should be a list of variable length. Is there a technological reason...

Secondary WIFI Networks: VLANS or SSID, or Both?

There's a lot of information aimed at different levels so I'm confused how to achieve what I want. I have an Asus Rt-AC3100 and I want to set up multiple, isolated networks that connect to the internet. The primary network would be accessible through wifi/ports but all other networks would...
