[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Yeah, maybe they're getting old. Though, mine was kept unused since i got it, i wanted to extend the range at home but never did it, instead i repositioned the main router and the range i wanted got fixed this way, placing the RT-N66U in the drawer. So from this point of view it's kind of new...

Every now and then i find the router crashed and rebooted, i have never...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

It's just an easy setup, WAN is PPPoE and i have 3 outdoor APs and 1 surveillance camera wired to the 4 Port Switch with DHCP reservations, there are no custom scripts. At the time the router crashed, there was not much going on, at best there were 5-6 wireless clients surfing the internet...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 380.57 is now available

The wireless performance on both bands for RT-AC68U is just awful with this build (yes i did the factory restore and reconfigure). I have tested a lot with both N and AC clients and it’s a real mess. The clients were in the exact same location as always, so was the router. I also did a wired...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 is out

I got the router behind an UPS so i pretty much covered the power outage. As for the power supply i don't think it's faulty. I had 19 days of uptime with this build and during this time the router was under serious load at some points needing more juice from the power supply. As i said...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.40 is out

The long story : tried to RDP my home computer but failed, used teamviewer instead, logged in the router interface, noticed the ip address got changed, looked at the router uptime and concluded the router crashed. Looking at the log would be just pointless as the machine clears it every time it...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.372.31 is out

Upgraded from 26b to 372.31 erasing nvram and restored factory defaults. On 2.4 Ghz with 20 Mhz only you can set whatever channel you want and it stays that way. The channel is visible on the router GUI and on any other wifi scanner (Xirrus, inSSIDer...) . On 2.4 Ghz with 20/40 Mhz you can set...
