Wondering if anyone is successfully running an Asus ET12 with other AiMesh (6E) routers as nodes.

Quick summary of setup: Unbox brand new set of ET8's, updated firmware for both at work, took home and plugged in desired location, logged into ET12 and clicked search, then added nodes (both connected without issue on first try), monitored connection and noticed they kept disconnecting randomly...

Wondering if anyone is successfully running an Asus ET12 with other AiMesh (6E) routers as nodes.

To sum things up quickly, I added two ET8's yesterday as nodes to my ET12 and they keep disconnecting... This would be my second (and last) attempt at Asus Aimesh. My hope is that it would work using 6E as the wireless backhaul with minimal tinkering. Both nodes get a good signal (per the ET12)...

ASUS ZenWiFi Pro ET12 Firmware version 3.0.0.4.388.23013

What broken behavior? Broken behavior for a normal home router user or broken behavior you for a hardcore network guru pushing the limits of this thing? :)

Asus Zenwifi pro ET12 with an RT-AX92U (node) connection strange behavior.

I figured something along those lines but expected "Asus AiMesh" to sort that all out and deal with it as that's how they market it... AiMesh is supposed to work with AiMesh per Asus, I didn't come across any caveats regarding this specific router (ET12) and other non 6E AiMesh routers. But...

Asus Zenwifi pro ET12 with an RT-AX92U (node) connection strange behavior.

Thank you for pointing that out, cant believe I missed it but I confused my self trying to remember the model numbers...(I was originally going to get the XT12) Anyway, I assumed it had something to do with it (mixing) but Asus support claims they should still work together... I gave up...

Asus Zenwifi pro ET12 with an RT-AX92U (node) connection strange behavior.

Well, the way Asus advertises it per Asus website: "AiMesh is an innovative new router feature that connects multiple ASUS routers to create a whole-home WiFi network. It’s a powerful and flexible way to solve your WiFi problems that also makes the most of your existing hardware: you can mix...

Asus Zenwifi pro ET12 with an RT-AX92U (node) connection strange behavior.

I purchased another et12 and it paired without issue as a node. Been using it for a day, both units are working with no issues. I didn't suspect a hardware issue, seemed more like a compatibility issue between the et12 & AX92U as I originally thought. Both AX92U's exhibited the same behavior...

Asus Zenwifi pro ET12 with an RT-AX92U (node) connection strange behavior.

I've contacted Asus support and was not impressed, their solution was RMA which I don't believe... I have a brand new Zenwifi pro xt12 (which is working fine by itself) that I'm adding to my existing home network which is a pair of Asus RT-AX92U's. The XT12 will be the main router and I wanted...
