I have a mix of WiFi 5 and WiFi 6 devices.
Is it better to have a WiFi 5 4x4 AP or a WiFi 6 2x2? (Those are my only two options).
I could move stuff like a smart TV and IoT devices to 2.4GHz so they don’t interfere with 5GHz, that would really then leave just the one WiFi 5 device...
True but there’s apparently a rule that business gear can change regions. The WAX204 has different firmware so I was wondering if the quasi-business nature of this offers a higher probability of region change.
Hello all, as of 2020 OFCOM in the UK allows non-DFS channel 149 and up (the 4 channels starting at 149).
But so far I can’t find which vendors are following the new rules.
Failing that, do netgear routers purchased in the UK allow the region to be set to Asia for example? Several countries...
Xiaomi and others do it, including some European companies, no not sure if that’s a real rule, or something we are told. It could just be some vendors are ignoring this.

I have an all-apple household and bought one of these refurbished for $130. It works amazingly well.
