    I've done this and mine still drops about once a day. Matter of fact my kids just called me at work saying their devices won't connect. Restart the router and they're back up and running (for now, until next restart). Merlin, I'm sure you're aware of it but there is a similar thread regarding...

    Updated to 3.0.0.4.372. Constant problems w/ 2.4G

    I've been having the same problem as well. 2.4 will work (sometimes not very fast), then will completely not work (5 and wired will work fine). I have to reboot at least once a day. I should mention I'm using the Ac66u.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.372.31 is out

    I also have this issue. Ac66u, 20mhz, static channel, 2.4 channel drops consistently to my iphone and several Dell laptops as well. A reboot will resolve the problem but it has to be done about once a day. It is quite annoying.
