Verizon 5g home ARC-XCI55AX and lease time

i have a verizon arc-xci55ax in passthrough mode to a linksys router running freshtomato. it also shows 1 minute lease time on the freshtomato status page. i can watch the lease timer count down and renew every minute. this is a factor in network performance and seems to favor reconnection vs...

kernel: br0: received packet on eth1 with own address as source address

i agree completely that suppressing the errors is not a solution. if a client has a mac addr from associating with anther network, then enters the home network, could these errors occur until the nic gets a new dhcp address on the home network?

RT-AC68P - can't login thru GUI after password change

chrome is well known to insert names and passwords in wrong fields. i got screwed up many times using chrome to configure my routers. could the username have been erroneously filled in on a differnt screen? (ie, no longer root or admin)?

does the 1.0.25 cfe work on ac68u? i have read conflicting things on this board. would there be any advantage to upgrading an ac68u to the 1.0.25 cfe if i've already upgraded to 1.0.20?

    Linksys E4200v2 and Tomato firmware

cilynx: thanks for the prompts. i had (at least) two problems: 1. it's an interesting router that seems to have a slow-discharge cap to time the unplug-time; i had to wait about two minutes between power cycles to get it to really reboot. 2. i was using ie11 and the router gui was not...
