Confused about QOS. Not sure how to limit bandwidth from WAN on single port

Hmm, that makes perfect sense and seems fairly obvious now. Not sure why I didn't realize that before! Thanks! Just set up a rule and tested it and it does apply only to the WAN.

Confused about QOS. Not sure how to limit bandwidth from WAN on single port

I have an RT-AC68R running merlin. Inside my network I have a Plex server set up with a port forward. I want to limit bandwidth on port 32400 to that server, but only from the WAN (I still want full bandwidth for LAN clients). I've looked into the router's QOS settings, but can't figure out...

    Can't find traditional QoS settings

Tried logging out and back in, but no change. Tried restarting my browser, but no change. Finally decided to try a different browser, and the drop-down box is there! For some reason it doesn't show up at all in Safari, but does in Firefox. Not ideal, but I can always use a different browser...

    Can't find traditional QoS settings

I'm running Asus-merlin 380.57 on my Asus 68R. I just enabled QoS and want to add manual rules. I've selected traditional QoS and clicked apply, but I can't find any place to add rules. I'm looking for something like this: http://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1010951/ But here's what my page...

dnsmasq.conf.add not being read before running dnsmasq

Moved the file to the jffs partition and it's working well! Thanks for the info! (and also thanks for the great firmware!) I added some logging (using logger) to the scripts and it seems services-start is running well before post-mount. That would also explain why the services I installed...

dnsmasq.conf.add not being read before running dnsmasq

Oops, yes the file is in /jffs/configs, just typed the path wrong here! Any suggestions on where else to look for this issue? I've also noticed some services installed in /tmp/opt (on a USB3 flash drive) are not being started on boot, but running them manually after boot works just fine. I'm...

dnsmasq.conf.add not being read before running dnsmasq

I'm having issues getting dnsmasq.conf.add to work. I added a "addn-hosts" line. I have the file in /jffs, and I see that the addn-hosts line is added to end of the /etc/dnsmasq.conf file, but dnsmasq isn't reading those hosts. If I restart dnsmasq it then reads in those hosts. It seems like...

After this last reboot, dnsmasq and squid no longer working

I accidentally unplugged my router, and when I plugged it back in and booted it up my squid proxy and custom dns entries were not working any longer. I upgraded to the newest firmware and even wiped the jffs and recreated the scripts/configs, but I'm running into the same issues. I have a...
