Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

Had to revert back to RC2-4 on my 86u node as the 5ghz wireless seemed to drop regularly and the throughput on ethernet backhaul was much worse.

Beta ASUSWRT 386 RC2 public beta with full functions AiMesh 2.0

Having had issues for months with clients losing 2.4ghz radio and had set a daily reboot as a workaround. I did a full reset on my main router (AX88u) & node (AC86u) before installing this firmware and am delighted with the results. 3 days uptime and Airmesh is working flawlessly so thank you...

    384.15 WAN connection crashed

"After flashing this, I am finding the WAN connection drops to my devices perhaps once every 3-5 minutes on average. When waking devices from sleep, the WiFi is often not found automatically. " I had the exact same issue with my RT-AX88U and the 384.15 beta. This even after a reset post...

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

Internet connection speeds were terrible especially on Apple devices, speed tests of less than 1mb. A reboot of the router and forgetting & adding the ssid helped for short time then the low speeds would happen again after a few minutes. Lost patience going through the logs and just reverted...

[384.15_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

The Alpha firmware is not going well for me on my AX88U I did a reset as the 5Ghz was unstable after a dirty upgrade from 384.14. Now every few minutes I'm logged out of the gui and it drops the WAN connection I noticed it first when configuring the names in the network list and seems to happen...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.9 is now available

Noticed something strange, I'll quickly explain my setup. AC88u as main router and a AC86u in AP mode. The 88u runs 2.4ghz wireless only, 5ghz radio turned off and the 86u is setup the opposite way. Both running 384.9 and reset both to factory after the upgrade ad manually entered in all my...

Having an issue with Firefox 58.02 with Beta 2 on my AC88u which was fine on Beta 1 and all previous versions of the firmware. I can't access via HTTPS but works ok in Chrome, the HTTP site is fine Has there been some change in the certs? Then

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.67 Beta is now available

Strange thing for me I can only achieve A+ for all three by setting the QOS upload higher than my VDSL connection. I'm on a 100/20 VDSL package and the sweetspot in QOS is 98/30 with that I can constantly achieve A+ for overall, buffer bloat & quality http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest Just...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 is now available

I stumbled upon a weird issue with my AC88u, when watching a movie streamed from a NAS, SPMC was crashing almost exactly every 10 mins. I tried rebooting my adroid box, NAS and even changed from SMB to NFS but nothing made a difference. On a hunch I completely powered down the router and...
