    Skype TV Cam

Thanks for the responses guys, I remember now and did some similar last year which I got working. Next problem: I can't remember how I did it. I used a SSH client which had a file Explorer type ui and I added the code via a txt file which I thought was Putty but putty seems to have a cmd...

    Skype TV Cam

I have a Skype TV cam which needs to successfully ping www.skype.com in order to function. Microsoft has blocked these pings so the Skype cam no longer works is there an easy way to spoof this ping within the routers UI?

ASUS N66U Connectivity drops on 2.4GHz XPERIA Z1s

It's a known issue on the latest firmware, need to wait until Asus fix their source code. Either switch to 5G for now or roll back to an earlier firmware. John's fork works well.

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hi John, I've Sony Bravias and Yamaha amps, the good news is I've implemented the JFFS script you posted and I currently have access on both TV's to the media server. Thanks for that. With regards JFFS scripts are they persistent between firmware upgrades / reset to defaults?

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I'll be honest, I'm new to JFFS so whilst I was reading up on how to do it I stumbled upon getting the media centre working. Played around a bit more and figured out I can have multiple devices accessing the media server at the same time, only when the PC is off. When the pc is on, only the pc...

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I wonder if the pc accessing Samba and Media servers at the same time has something to do with it?

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

I've found my problem. When my PC is on (thus accessing the media server) the rest of my devices can't connect, turn the PC off the TV's can cannot looks like only one device at a time can access it. Does this sound right?

[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Hmm, there's something not right for me. On 15, Samba shares show up straight away automatically on my PC and Media Server is always available on my TV's and amps, on 16 and 17 I have to manually point the pc to the samba share to find the folders and Media Server either take an age to connect...
