    TS-251 is the most capable and versatile two-bay NAS box in its price range. But it’s pricey and its mobile media features aren’t fully implemented. DS215j NAS has excellent operating system software. it's good for home users.

    Does Synology have the hardware equivalent of the TS-453 pro?

    Synology RackStation RS815 is a good alternative to TS-453 pro. 4 bay(s), 0 GB, 2.5 and/or 3.5 inch, Intel Atom C2538, 1000 Mbit/s. I like the shape of RS815:)

    Clone NAS drive with (e.g.) Acronis?

    I use this great utility to do an image backup with QNAP. It's free and easy to use.

    JFFS2 Partition

    I've had to disable JFFS in order to have a mostly-working router since I recently updated.
