    RT-AC66U - Repeater mode - master browser for WORKGROUP

    Thanks for this, just found this helpful to solve similar issue while bringing up samba shares on my mixed samba/nfs/zfs windows/linux network. Set gateway router as master (RT-AC86u) which I hope is correct. Just a small net, no AD. no WINS. The 86u does local DNS and DHCP. cheers

    Well don't I feel silly<G>. Cut over to the new replacement RT-AC86u on Merlin 384.7 and everything is fine! Able to turn on all the AIP modules. Will see if this lasts. People have reported gradual slow downs with TLS handshake latency over time, but previousl slow pages are blazingly fast now...
