    Another update on 9813. Still no issues. Going strong :) Looks like it may be a keeper.

    FWIW It's been a week and still no 2.4ghz drops on 9813. I did factory reset after applying.

    FWIW I am now experiencing the same issue with stock firmware (3.0.0.4.378_9235)

    Had the same issue yesterday too. Did come back without touching the router or configuration though.

    Add me to the growing list of 2.4ghz drops. Started when I loaded John's firmware about a month or so ago. Prior was running a really old version of Merlin's. Had 0 issues prior. Shouldn't have upgraded! Going to try official tonight.

    I wanted to say you're not alone with this issue. Back in July I too went through 3 separate RT-N66U's from Amazon, all with the same issue you have documented here. If there is any tiny strain (pull) on the cat 5 my connection drops to 100mbit and if there is even a slight pulling force it...
