[Fork] Asuswrt-Merlin 374.43 LTS releases (Archive)

Looks like the main dev for that fork is leaving as of Oct. 27. I'd stay away until the dust settles.

AC86U Port Trigger not working (CoD Modern Warfare 2019)

You can't forward the same port to 2 different local ip's at the same time (afaik). From a quick look at the ports, the game is probably sending the online server (channel) list thru TCP 3074. Try not fowarding this port and see if you can see server list on all your consoles. UDP are most...

    Entware broken after reboot

I did know that there was a sleep integrated in the NetWare startup. However for some reason my rt-ac56u take it's time to boot up everything. For my part, the only thing that really fixed it was adding the sleep time at start, before entware was started, to make things go smooth . I'll edit...

    Entware broken after reboot

I had the same problem a while ago. Adding "sleep 30" at the beginning of services-start fixed the issue. Seems like the usb thumbdrive wasn't mounted fast enough .

Yet another malware block script using ipset (v4 and v6)

Yet another malware block script using ipset (v4 and v6)

I've been unable to make it work. Always displays: /jffs/scripts/ya-malware-block.sh: Loaded sets YAMalwareBlock1IP (0) YAMalwareBlock2IP (0) and YAMalwareBlockCIDR (0) in 0 seconds. The .whites and .url is also not created and missing, have to add them manually to the ipset_list folder...

Streaming from HDD of asus router to another

I believe your best option would be to use Plex on the router that has the HDD. However , all your files streaming need to be Direct playing as there is no way to transcode them on the fly (routers are not fast enough for this). Here is a link if you want to try and set it up ...

Entware broken after reboot on 380.64_2

    Have you tried what I've posted earlier? Add a sleep timer. services-start #!/bin/sh sleep 60 RC='/opt/etc/init.d/rc.unslung' i=30 until [ -x "$RC" ] ; do i=$(($i-1)) if [ "$i" -lt 1 ] ; then logger "Could not start Entware" exit fi sleep 1 done $RC start Add a sleep timer to...

Entware broken after reboot on 380.64_2

Had this problem a while ago. Adding a sleep time in service-start and post-mount inside the jffs partition did the trick. at the beginning of services-start and post-mount, add sleep 60 Save & Reboot.

    USB HDD setup

There's nothing wrong with having the drive formatted with ntsf. However, you can easily read ext4 on windows using Ext2fsd.

I've downloaded it around 7:50PM Montreal time ( EST ) and besides symbolic links errors everything extracted fine. You might have some RAM issues?

    Samba share speed fix?

Somehow I can't reproduce the speed I was getting before going on this mission to improve the throughput of transfers... I find it odd, but at least speed has improved.

    RP-N12 frequent disconnect

I've disabled the DHCP server on the repeater and gave it a static ip outside the DHCP ip range. Let's see what happens !

    RP-N12 frequent disconnect

I've bought an RP-N12 range extender so I would get a better wifi signal where my main router couldn't reach properly. The problem is that I have to reboot the damn thing almost everyday! So far the only firmware available for it is the first version of it currently available on asus website...
