Traffic monitor on TUF-5400: inconsistency between internet and WIFI traffic

My router is TUF-5400, Firmware Version: 3.0.0.4.388_23285. Anyway, I think it is a bug in the Asus Traffic monitor only. Both my Windows and my internet provider consistently report 5Mbps outgoing traffic which is correct. The only Asus Traffic monitor and only on the tab Wireless traffic...

Traffic monitor on TUF-5400: inconsistency between internet and WIFI traffic

Hello, I have a constant 5Mbit flow going from my windows computer via 5GHz WIFI to the internet. Task manager in windows shows 5Mbps traffic, Asus traffic monitor shows 5Mbps internet outgoing traffic but it shows twice as much in 5GHz wifi outgoing traffic (10 Mbps). Is it a bug or is there...

Observation on TUF-5400 and RP-AC55 in AiMesh 1.0 with Ethernet backhaul

I have spent some time to find a working solution and the right settings is pretty surprising to me. My clients were ignoring the AiMesh node even with RSSI -80 dBm on 2.4 GHz band. Long story short. Once I set up 80 MHz channel bandwidth on 5 GHz radio, it started working as requires. It means...

TUF-AX5400 assign strange IP address via DHCP

But still, no GNs propagation. Only main 2 GHz and 5 GHz networks are propagated.

TUF-AX5400 assign strange IP address via DHCP

Speaking about guest networks propagation to AiMesh nodes: I have just ended up finding out my RP-AC55 incapable of that. It does not propagate any guest network 🤦‍♂️

TUF-AX5400 assign strange IP address via DHCP

Yes, you are right! Currently, I can see 192.168.50.53 in the Network Map - client list whereas 192.168.102.53 is shown in the DHCP leases. At least the very last number is the same. Is it a rule?

TUF-AX5400 assign strange IP address via DHCP

OK, if it is so, how come a client in the 1st guest network has 192.168.50.53 ? Following your explanation is has to be either 192.168.101.x or 102.x, right?

TUF-AX5400 assign strange IP address via DHCP

Hello, thanks for reaction. I do not think it is normal. The IP address should be out of the 192.168.50.0 network. An if I have a look at the guest networks all the clients have addresses out of the 192.168.50.0 network see the screenshot plse. How come the IP address 192.168.101.248 is possible...

TUF-AX5400 assign strange IP address via DHCP

I have encountered a strange behaviour. My router TUF-AX5400 is operating 192.168.50.0 network. I use manual DHCP for all my known clients. Surprisingly, one client gets assigned a different IP and even out of the different network (in fact 192.168.101.248). Details can be seen in the...
