How good is the Netgear R7000 with the latest firmware?

New Firmware - Laggy For Me I just downloaded the released firmware 1.0.4.18 and noticed my download speed is not as fast, or robust as 1.0.3.80. In fact, I even called the cable provider to inquire if there were any network traffic outside the norm. 1.0.3.80 - Steady 23.2Mb Down - (All...

Actually, we probably need to talk about robustness and reliability. Asus is lacking these qualities. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

    I don't like my RT-N66U

I purchased the N66U, and feel this product is inferior to the trusty old RT-N16 . The N66U consistently requires a reboot, as the bandwidth is unreliable and continues to suffer. I have updated to the current firmware and my RT-N16 continues to be more reliable with download speeds. I...

Purchased Asus N66U Ok, I just picked up the N66U, and the immediate notice was the Link Score increased on my laptop in inSSIDer. Now, it is at a score of 100, (A-band) where before it was always around 65 - 70. Then again, my router is only 10 feet away from my sofa. In all honesty...

Those are great points. Would upgrading help Netflix, and will it then be dependent on the device used for Netflix? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4

Public petition to ASUS - please make a new version of AC68U

Plus, they are onsale with Newegg.com for $199, and then use the Prom0 code to make it $179.99.

In my situation, if I am already achieving my download speed provided by my ISP, their is NO reason to upgrade? I wonder if my QOS would increase with the dual band?
