    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.52 is available

Disabling is fine. It was not meant as criticism! I have this router for its speed in handling network traffic as I have a 400+Mbit connection. Most routers of ISP cannot even handle the provided speed.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.52 is available

Who is using it anyway with all those alternatives around? I would like to see the firmware stripped from any non-routing functionality. A router is not a NAS...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.52 is available

Aha! Thanks... Main reason for asking was that making a static lease resulted in a complete (probably intended) reboot.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.52 is available

Thanks! Finally got the time to do the upgrade including factory reset. This works flawlessly on my RT-AC68U One question: What is the reason to bind MAC and IP to each other in the Network Map?

Qnap TS-659 Owner needs new NAS

I totally agree on staying with QNAP. However going to a 5 disc NAS gives more flexibility in drive configuration due to power consumption and heat dispensing. I'm totally happy with my 569 PRO stacked with 5 4TB WD RED Verzonden vanaf mijn iPad met behulp van Tapatalk

    USB Printing problem?

I'm not sure it the firmware I use, but I discovered that none of the devices in the network can print to the Samsung USB Laserprinter. What I have so far: Reconnect USB cables Full reboot of all devices Reinstall drivers on Mac Recreated printer queues on Mac The log shows it connects the...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 374.39 is out

Just to be sure I'm using OpenDNS for years, so I did already enforced using OpenDNS by setting it in the WAN settings. Is there any benefit or extra to also using it in the parental control (DNS tab)? Vincent

Is it possible to add more ddns?

Thanks... Later on I have seen the same info on the site of DNS-O-MATIC....

Is it possible to add more ddns?

However the firmware asks for a hostname with de dns-o-matic DDNS service. Probably a minor mistake. dns-o-matic doesn't use any hostnames. What did you fill in there?

    Bandwidth limits.

Move to Europe? How would that be related to Spotify / Netflix and so on... Watching one episode of an average serie would bring you beyond the daily average...

I have tried your settings and still having those flashing patterns... Functionality doesn't seem to be compromised by this

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.38 is out

The only difference is the hidden SSID. RMerlin mentioned is had something to do with the closed-source part which controls the LED's. Maybe learning to live with it...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.38 is out

LED Behavior Hi all, I'm new to the Asus router scene as I just bought me an Asus RT-AC68U router. Directly I installed this version of Merlin's firmware. What a great job you do here! One of the reasons why I jumped into this Asus router. (Coming from a Zyxel NBG6716) I have a question about...
