2.4 GHz....What does the N only mean exactly? Everything on my 2.4ghz is pretty much the same and I have seen improvement.
5ghz......What is n/ac mixed mean? Everything on mine is pretty much the same but that.
I ended up on the 2.4ghz with these settings:
The wireless mode: auto
channel bandwidth: 20
control channel: 11
Authentication method: WPA2-Personal
Are these pertaining to 2.4 GHz ideal/correct?
Now I just have to figure the 5ghz setup.
I would love to make my wifi faster on this same router. Could I simply just change the channel bandwidth for both 2g and 5g? What bandwidth is preferred for each?
I performed the first one and it erased everything. Was this supposed to happen? I also noticed that my nest cameras aren't connecting and the authentication method is an open system. SHould it be on this? I'm confused.

The firmware would have been the last one which was back in January. I have to look it up but for sure it was that one. What exactly is a full reset? Do you mean, converting back to stock? I may have or have not done so depending on what exactly it is. Thank you for replying btw.
