    It's the 10G-base-T that's gonna cost a small fortune for now. That's why I'm digging for a switch like this with 4 sfp's instead.

    I've seen the 3300-28 for as low as $599, and you order yourself two connect-x 2 cards for $35, and you've at least got two 10GbE connections for well under $800 after shipping and whatnot.

    Yeah, It doesn't look like Synology supports SLA only LACP LAG (although they do support Network Fault Tollerance on multiple ports).

    Can something like the : Brocade SilkWorm 200 series FC Switch be used for both iSCSI as well as "regular" tcpip traffic ? reason I ask, is that I'd like to buy one for cheap (ebay), and use some ports strictly for iSCSI/NFS traffic, but then also use 2-4 ports for standard tcp/ip traffic...

    Also, It seems as though when I move the 3 ports that my NAS uses to a Trunk group, I then lose all connectivity to the NAS completely. It's quite odd.
