Multiple Subnets via single wireless AP?

I understand that wireless is a physical medium; I guess I don't understand how to correctly set it up (virtual interface, or virtual lan with AirVPN on pfSense?) I also need to say that my diagram is incorrectly depicting my network configuration. I've updated it to reflect the correct layout.

Multiple Subnets via single wireless AP?

Bit of an update: I followed this guide from the beginning to see if I had missed anything: https://nguvu.org/pfsense/pfSense-setup-with-AirVPN/index.html Went ahead and decided to use a dedicated RT68 for wireless access to the VPN, and I can connect to it fine and pull the correct IP, etc...

Multiple Subnets via single wireless AP?

Hey folks, I'm drawing blanks as everything I have tried has gotten me nil results with my current network setup. A diagram of what I have: I need to configure the DD-WRT r7000 so that I can have a device(s) (previously identified by pfSense static lease assignment) connect to the .70...

At wits end with my network

Thanks for all of your responses. I wouldn't be paying anything (or very little) for a Cisco 2950. Not sure what IOS is loaded, but that shouldn't matter for what I intend to do. I'm going to open another thread though, for that question. Man it feels good to get back into my roots...

At wits end with my network

The TV has been wired with Cat5e since getting things going in the Apartment. Now I'm using the Netgear 5 port switch as mentioned above, and things work better, except now I don't have buffering issues, I just have "error playing file" issues at seemingly random areas. I did see that there was...

At wits end with my network

IIRC, the default setting on the Plex Server is to transcode. The server is comprised of an i7 5930K (hex core) with 64GB DDR4. It's an upgrade from an older 4 processor Xeon 7300 series rackmount I had previously with 256GB of DDR3 ECC. Are you referring to the App on the television, in that...

At wits end with my network

That's just the thing. I don't know if Plex keeps things local, if connecting to my server directly in the home or not. I know that using the webservice plex.tv requires port forwarding in order for their handler to "see" the server; I don't know if the SmartTv App also reaches out to the...

At wits end with my network

Hello everyone, I've been lurking for a while, and decided to make an account today. I just recently moved to South Korea from the US, and have an entirely new network to play with. I have this amazing service from KT that offers gigabit speeds via fibermodem that has 4 switchports. I do not...
