New Around Here
Ok, so I decided to upgrade firmware from 376.49 to 378.50 last night. I did the factory reset, before, and after I flashed the new firmware. Started putting all my settings back manually and discovered that none of my port forward settings are taking effect. I see them on the page, but even after rebooting and reflashing and starting all over I am unable to forward ports for my game servers that were all working before the upgrade. Even tried disabling windows firewall out of frustration.

I first tried checking a client version of the games to see if servers were listed in browser, but they were not. So I then tried using http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and just as a backup I also tried http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and both show port is closed or "I could not see your service at IP:pORT"

Anyone else having problems port forwarding? Or should I just revert back to an older firmware?

For what its worth, I've been having connection issues with my rt-n66u since installing 378.50. In my case, certain services like xbox live and netflix (via xbox) don't connect. Periodically, I'm also completely losing internet connectivity which seems to resolve if I reboot my router and/or cable modem. I think there may be a few issues that I haven't put my finger on just yet, but I think relate to ports and dns. I performed a factory reset prior to and just after installing 378.50, then manually (and tediously) updated my configuration settings.

Never had this problem with any Asus router.
Just to test, plug the cable straight into your PC and scan again.
