New Around Here
OK, I got a new R7000 Nighthawk and I love it so far. The router thinks I'm in Las Vegas, Nevada. Only problem is that I live in Florida. Whiskey Tango Foxtrott?

On my android phones , tablets and my laptop, my location data is jacked. Weatherbug is giving me Las Vegas weather and Google maps is giving me driving directions from "my location" as if I'm in Vegas. If I turn off wifi, problem solved. If I swap in my old router, problem solved. It has to be the router.....

I did some searching and found no help. A call to Netgear support yielded the same results.

How can I get my router to realize we're not in Las Vegas?

Absolutely brilliant! Worked like a champ. I would have never figured that out. Thanks Microchip, you're the best.

I love this place.
