New Around Here
I've just acquired this router (E8350) to replace my old trusty Asus RT-N66U as I am having some AC based devices to be added to my network soon. I have to say the router is a mixed feeling experience! The lack of LED on the front face of the router is annoying but not an experience destroyer; the 5GHz wireless is amazing even as a wireless N 5GHz. What is really bad was the 2.4 GHz, the coverage is shorter than normal as it covers as much as the 5GHz in my house even with all these concrete walls, you would think the 2.4 coverage should be better than 5GHz but nope!!!!!!!! The 2.4GHz speed is also not so good. Over all not a bad experience but clearly won't pay that much for this router, hopefully Linksys will roll out firmware to fix the 2.4 coverage at least. Ohh and I use the latest Firmware.

I haven't tried the storage options on the router yet, might do so when I get my 2 new AC based laptops so I can't comment on the performance on the storage side.

After a full day of usage, some of my devices on the 2.4 network got disconnected randomly. Asus N66U is now back as my primary router.

You might want to post this in the Linksys forum. Not to many of these being sold or talked about I see here.
