Hi Tim,

I'm sure you've thought about this ad-nausea, but do you think there's enough brand/model content generated in addition to Asus (Netgear, TP-Link to name just two) to warrant individual vendor forums under a "Brand-Specific" section, perhaps coming after "LAN-WAN", and/or rolling up the three Asus sub-forums into just one Asus forum, for simplicity's sake and ease of content placement?

Additionally, it seems the notions of wireless vs. wired and Asus-specific content placed in Asus-only forums are eluding many posters... Perhaps a combination of the suggestion above, with say, renaming the "Routers" forum to "Wired Routers" and then changing "Wireless Buying Advice" to "Wireless Routers & Access Points" and/or perhaps placing both of them under their own "Routers & Firewalls" section would better help?

Perhaps in line with this, here's what I would suggest specifically for the Asus forums:

- Merge the N and AC forums together (as the N traffic has been winding down anyway, and from an enduser's point of view the vast majority of posts related to N devices would also apply to AC users, especially as they share the same firmware, and more or less the same feature set)
- Keeping the Asuswrt-Merlin sub-forum unchanged
- Disable the ability of posting at the root of the Asuswrt section, forcing all posts to be made in either "Asus wireless devices" or "Asuswrt-Merlin" (I often need tomove the root level posts into their appropriate child forums)
