I recently picked up an r7000 to take advantage of my 150mb down speeds that I have with my ISP. After I went ahead and did the basic install (including all updates), I went over speedtest.net and discovered that my down speed was capped at about 93mbps. I then connected directly into the cable modem and ran the test again, and received a better number -- 140mbps. I did this several times throughout the day and received consistent results: On the r7000, I was not able to get above 95mbps for download speeds. Is there something that I was supposed to configure on the router to achieve 890mbps WAN-LAN performance, as was stated in the SNB review? There's no wireless involved with this test, since I'm just plugging directly into LAN port 1 and then plugging directly into my cable modem.
Notably, the NIC reports 1000mbps Full Duplex on both (directly to cable modem/directly to r7000).
Thanks in advance.
