New Around Here
Hi.

This is my first post on this forum. But I have been reading it for many years!

My name is Simon, I'm 40 years old, and from Fredrikstad, Norway :)

This post/question didn't really fit anywhere else since my question encompasses all of the above forums/topics.

I'm doing a design of my future "home" network, and I would love some feedback and advice.

Would you do anything different? Change the order of any hardware, offload some services to other boxes?
My ZyXEL box feels underutilized?

You can find a picture here:

My hardware:
  • 192.168.3.1 (Core-i3 with 8GB RAM. 3x Intel Gigabit Network)
  • 192.168.3.2 (ZyXEL GS1900-8HP)
  • 192.168.3.3 (Some Athlon64 with 4GB RAM. 2x Intel Gigabit Network)
  • 192.168.3.4 (Core-i7 with 8GB RAM. 1x Intel Gigabit Network)
  • 192.168.3.5 (Seagate Central NAS)
  • 192.168.3.10 (ASUS RT-N66U)
  • 192.168.3.11 - 13 (3x Ubiquiti Nanostation M2) Yes, I'm covering quite a few square miles with WiFi :)
  • 192.168.3.14 (TP-Link 840)
  • 192.168.3.101 (Some Athlon64 with 16GB RAM)

Everything that can is running DD-WRT.
All wifi is atheros chipset.

Any and all suggestions are welcome...
