Hello, I got a R8000 this week and whilst it appears competent, my Avast says there is a vulnerability in the router that is accessible from the internet. When I went onto GRC port scan it confirms that 443 is wide open and would only be open for credit card transactions.

According to the web this port may be used by ssl and secure connections, but surely it should not be sat there wide open for no reason?

Any ideas, before I pack it up and send it back?

Log into the routers admin page and disable Remote Admin if you don't need or want to have any access from Internet.
