No, I had to hyphenate it in order to get it posted. If you type the actual word, it says that word is banned.
 
The current setup is not a solution IMHO, there will always be more and more keywords to add to the list, which just causes frustration for the legitimate users.
Wouldn't activating recaptcha and answering some random questions upon registration help?
 
in pm's bizarre words are banned.

capctha I am no fan of either.

it seems the best idea was to add moderation to new user's posts but once hitting a threshold then they can post freely.
 
Sorry for the inconveniences, guys. But with the rise of human-based spam, it's necessary. Keywords are based on spam campaigns we've gotten.

The temporarily blocked posts are a small fraction of daily volume.

I've got no problem with it. I just thought the banning of that particular word was somewhat odd.

Probably related to campaigns about b-l-0-0-d (add that banned word to this also-banned word, and you'll see what I mean).
