I forgot - I also just looked at the cable info, and this is what I got. This seems even worse than before, if I've read the above posts directly. It's strange because the landlord and family are gone, so there is _only_ myself and my wife's phone currently on our Internet network. From one of stevech's comments above, these numbers seem to indicate our network is not surviving very well,...Is there any way to tell if these two issues are related?

You need to provide a clearer image. The one attached is making my head spin (even zoomed).

Sorry. Here's the basic point that I noticed: Upstream is -10 and -9 dBmV; Downstream is 53dBmV. According to someone's previous post, this is even _worse_ than when I first posted the numbers. Also, the house is currently unoccupied (family away), so we only have ourselves hooked up to Wifi right now (no streaming devices, just main computer). I realize that shouldn't affect cable measurements, but this measurement is from after I swapped in a proper 3-way splitter and added on the Actiontec adapter.

If the house split is actually done at the spot suspended well above-ground, and TWC put in some kind of POE filter outside of the main house line, then that pretty much means the MoCA network isn't going to be feasible, I gather. I can try one more thing and put the POE filter I received on each of the two cables I identified coming out of the house to see if one of them is actually an old or dead line, but it seems unlikely. But would TWC use a large, external splitter and two separate lines in the case where our cable (TV) is on one account (for one house)?

You failed to state whether this is officially a two family home. A two family can be anything from two residences connected side by side, one above the other or a home with an apartment. It sounds like TWC installed two drops one for each residence. Since most cable companies are using MoCA to distribute whole house DVR signals they are automatically are adding MoCA filters to subscribers drops to prevent interference between systems, when they visit a customer. As it stands now unless you can connect the two drops to bypass the MoCA filters you are stuck. You never mentioned if there are separate electric meters for each residence. If there is one meter, you might try one of the new MIMO HomePlug systems.
