I have searched but can't find a way to get a readable configuration from my Asus RT-AC68U. If I am to reset it to factory staus and then set it up again it would be much easier if I didn't have to take snapshots of every web page. The configuration file seems to be in binary.

The configuration file which you can save can be reuploaded to any ac68U or router that runs asuswrt. it is likely the file is encrypted to protect passwords.
You can get the configurations from the linux files though there are multiple files to gather.

Thank you. Using different files is almost as much effort as a series of screen shots. Seems like a lot of work but so be it.
