Top tier router with USB 3.0 and torrent support

Hi,
I am looking for very good and stable router supporting USB 3.0 and SMB, NFS and Torrent downloading.
Currently I know that Asus RT-AC3200 has such features, but I don't know any other. Do Netgear or D-Link routers have ability to download torrents?

I find it necessary to understand software services and firmware requirements and then choose from hardware candidates that meet requirements. I suggest that you consider if you want to use Entware \ Optware first. Then choose a firmware that will support Entware \ Optware: Tomato, DD-WRT, Merlin, etc. From there, that should narrow it down to only a few hardware choices.

I use the RT-AC68U (upgraded T-Mobile Cellspot). This device supports the ENTWARE-ARM fork (featuring SMB,NFS, Transmission Torrent Client). Entware FAQ:

The top tier would be a linux server since it is very stable, can be installed on a system with usb 3 ports and have a torrent client as well and support NFS.

What you want instead isnt the top tier but a router that supports tomato, RMerlin firmware or openWRT and has enough CPU to run stuff at satisfying speeds which no consumer router apparently can do.
 
Depending on your goals and if you can stretch your budget, you might just want to consider a budget NAS or old x86 box for the hosting/torrenting, plus a lesser all-in-one router for the rest (AC1900 class?). Or even segment things further with a legit wired router and the all-in-one as your AP. As long as we're willing to drop three-hundo on a silver-bullet, it might be worth consideration... could amount to $400+, but the difference may be worth it in headaches avoided, depending of course on the amount of performance/reliability you're looking for. Just a thought. :)
