Part of the Furniture
two of them... free or freecycle...

Both are still supported by Mac OS X 10.10.x

15" Macbook Pro 2008 - needs battery, should work otherwise - SuperDrive/DVD is a bit spooky, but 11n (2 stream), 2GB RAM, and 250GB HDD

13' Macbook Pro 2009 - this one is a mess perhaps, but for someone patient... 2GB/160GB/Superdrive

No Chargers, just the Macbook's....

Pay shipping or local pickup in San Diego...

I'm interested in the 15 inch or both, I don't want to seem greedy. . I've never had a Mac and wouldn't mind playing with one to learn.
Will send you a pm.

sfx2000, just wanted to say that was a really nice thing you did here. Hope to emulate it someday.

Kudo's.

If we can re-purpose old gear - we should - whether at a org level, or someone that just needs a machine...

Old gear for us - it doesn't do much on the shelf, and it can improve someone's life if they can't get access...

I would encourage others to do so as well - best on a local basis..
