Is TurboQAM active in AP mode on a R7000?
Is TurboQAM only active when you ONLY have 40MHz Channel bandwidth in 2.4GHz band?
I just test my D-Link DWA-192 BUT i CANT get 600 Mbps i only get 450 Mbps but only if it just set to 40MHz Channel bandwidth and if it put in 20/40 mode i get 300 Mbps?

I have Windows 10 64-bit on my laptop Lenovo Z50-70 that should have dual channel 300 Mbps (2x2) NIC inside but thats BS i only get 72.2 Mbps on one band only thats 2.4GHz, thats why i get the DWA-192.

256-QAM should be enabled for both router and AP.

To get 600 Mbps link rate, yes, 40 MHz mode must be used on both router and client.
Referring to the MCS table, 20 Mhz mode yields a max link rate of 288.9 Mbps.

D-Link DWA-192 supports TurboQAM but i still only get 450 Mbps rate on 40 MHz

Yeah, I got that. Check the settings on the DWA-192 and make sure 40 MHz mode is enabled there also.

Might have to go into devices's Driver Advanced Settings (Device Manager) and turn on VHT mode for 2.4GHz...

I know the problem now, after i reboot my laptop 2 times it start to work but i think there is Driver problem here.
The rate is jumping from 54-450-540-600 on 2.4GHz 40 MHz all the time, its a RTL8814AU chip inside, D-Links driver its NOt so good its NOT stable.
Do you know a place on webb there i can download driver for a RTL8814AU chip?
I have looked everywhere without any luck i think that RTL8813AU will also worked here.
But as i said it must be the driver its not stable att all OR it can be that they not work so GOOD on Win10, i will try it on my Win7 laptop as well later.

Return the product. Use an Ethernet connected wireless bridge instead.

I have a ASUS EA-N66 its a 450/450 Dualband can be used as a adapter with Ethernet port but i cant get 450/450 on any band of my AC Routers that i have.
BUT I just find a new driver DWA-192_V1.03b04 that is stable and now all works greate.

Please provide the link to the new driver so others can benefit from your work.

Will this works with bridged r7k n speed wit 600Mb/s . I only get 450Mb/s constant.

This is actually consistent behavior with a few devices in TurboQAM (QAM256) in 2.4GHz mode - this is a non-standard mode, and different chipset vendors treat this their own way...

I've been doing some digging into the WRT1900ACS low performance concerns in 2.4GHz, and have found some interesting things when TurboQAM is enabled that can dramatically impact performance in a negative way..

At the moment, what I can recommend is not enabling TurboQAM on any AC1900 class* router unless all clients are the same chipset as the router/AP, otherwise the results can be very unpredictable..

*AC1900 class or higher
