Hi,

Was planning to change my ISP to a different one in my country so I am hoping to change my router from my old ISP which is a Aztech one, but the new ISP do not provide the router up front but as a upgrade.

So was wondering what I should get the new ISP?
N66U is $189 to be bought separately
N56U is $159, separately as well. (heard as the more bandwidth-centric router)

AC66U is an upgrade for $209
AC68U is for $259

Or can i get the netgear R7000 for $289 separately.
What I am concerned of is stability and overall throughput, especially LAN. as the wireless side is not so bandwidth-centric, just usability. Reason why I am contemplating is due to the concerns on restarting of devices on the AC series.. I was also thinking of the linksys EA6900 but i do not have a price on it so I am curious, how I should choose from the rest.

Hope you guys can assist me in choosing the router that suit my needs.

the prices you quoted, you're really much better off getting it from somewhere else.
the asus ac56U is the same as the ac68U except that it uses 2 channel ac wifi and internal antennas and is a lot cheaper.

I see. 1GBps, ISP doesn't have anything less lol..

"1GBps" by convention means giga-bytes per second. Likely, you meant 1Gbps (bits/sec). Even that is hard to fathom as the service speed rather than the port speed.
