New Around Here
Hi all
couldn't find any info on how to do this, but eventually managed to get it to work.
once you've logged into your Cyberghost account & gone to my devices, scroll to the bottom of the page & select
1 - Openvpn UDP for your protocol (this is faster than TCP)
2 - select your desired country.
3 - then click on "download configuration.
4 - unzip the download to a folder on your computer & you should have four files. ca-crt/client.crt/client.key & openvpn.ovpn. (make sure that all four files open with notepad)
5 - on your router click the VPN tab then VPN client tab, then click add profile.
6 - description, whatever you want to call it. Then enter your username & password from Cyberghost my device web page. locate the file openvpn.ovpn & click upload. (you will get an error of, lack of client key/lack of client certificate & lack of certificate authority)
7 - Tick import the CA file or edit the ovpn file manually.
8 - click edit manually
9 - copy & paste ca-crt file into the certifcate authority box
10 - copy & paste client.crt into the client certificate box
11 - copy & paste client.key into client key box
12 - leave static key & certificate revocation boxes empty.
13 - click save
14 - click connect
hopefully you should now be connected (it might take a minute or so)
Hope this helps Waterman.
