Help with a Triple Router in a Y-Configuration

If you still think you need 3 routers I don't know what to say.

What do you think? I need to make a shopping list. But I think I need sleep…
 
Something to confuse you even more. My network is very odd because my ISP doesnt allow NAT, i have 2 layer 3 networks running on the same layer 2 and layer 4 networks but i have traffic travel based on certain criteria. So direct internet traffic goes through my managed switch to my router which does layer 2 filtering to my ISP wheares some traffic is proxied from some devices needing internet but cant get a legitimate IP (ISP limits number of devices) and to gain internet access when needed through vpn.

For the indirect path traffic goes to switch ---ERPRO running squid and some stuff----switch-----router -------ISP. I also have a raspberry pi 2 running some server related services such as cups and xsane, network monitoring, apache and mysql powered from the usb port of the ERPRO and connected to the switch. My router performs layer 2 QoS and firewall with IP firewall as well on layer 2, the usual ip firewall and qos and bridges vpn to my own network and has the ISP IP layer as well on the same bridge. Layer 2 segmentation isnt needed because of the layer 2 firewall that filters traffic between the layer 1 assignment of my network and my ISP.

In total i have 2 APs (wifi routers as APs), 2 routers (1 is used as a mini server instead) and 1 managed switch. Functionally i have 1 router, 1 managed switch, 2 APs and 2 mini servers. Instead of doing what you're doing i dont have the same of 2 devices. Each network device is totally different doing what they do best and i burden them with as many tasks as i can except running compute tasks, game servers, file servers, media servers and so on.

I also charge my phone from the usb3 port of my wifi router.
I only recommend SG300 switches because they are a good inexpensive layer 3 switch with low power draw. They readily can be had used. It has a 17 GIG backplane switch which should handle any home needs. Layer 3 switches switch at nanosecond speeds whereas routers route at millisecond speeds. Switches are faster than routers.

It does take some skill with a layer 3 switch as you are working at layer 3. Lots of IP addressing and networks.
I didnt really say they were bad, i said they were the best semi managed switches in terms of features. I only said that they werent better in quality than other brands being cisco's lower end. routers also route at nanosecond speed. The difference between CPU and switch is CPU is frequency based for speed while switch has a large bus and a paralised core so it handles more numbers better up to a point. With low numbers of non processed packets the CPU wins, with large numbers of non processed packets, switch wins. When you have to process packets, switch takes a long time.

I guess I am having a problem with the routers are wireless. How do I mange the wireless?
