    weird issue with rt-ac88 and 5ghz band

    I have at&t fiber 1000 and my note 10+ still only get 462/733 Mbps it's just wireless for ya but with my home wired pc,I get 936/907

    Only reason I ask is .the sales rep said I couldn't use the router I thought it had something to do with the fiber part ,so I didn't question her

    I'm on xfinity now but switching to att gigabit fiber tomorrow can I use my ac88u router with that service as a router or do I have to change it to a access point? Thank you
