    Apparently, this would have to be fixed on the router firmware side then. I hope Asus or Merlin will be able to accomplish this at some point in the future. Or maybe the upcoming changes in Merlin's 380.68 Beta are the ones to also cover the issue in question?

    My previous firmware was 374.40 so I rolled back there and everything works now. But I wish we were able to be on the latest and greatest firmware. I wonder if it's possible to update the modules to be compatible with the current 374.45? Or is it the firmware that is the culprit?

    RT-AC68U - updated download master 3.1.0.88

    arijit.ray81, I am having the exact same issue that you have described. I'm using the latest Merlin's firmware; the attached HDD where Download Master is installed, is NTFS. Look forward to this being fixed by Asus.

    Just to chime in... Mine doesn't fall back to the primary link once it's on the secondary. (Using 3.0.0.3.178.15 - Merlin build and Huawei 1550 as a backup).
