    Some of that is directly thanks to Merlin--Asus takes good features/code from Merlin and adds it in to stock AsusWRT. Symbiotic, and Merlin is generous in terms of open source/copyrights, etc. Again, that's a great router you have and will provide great service!

    310 - 235 = $75 I personally prefer Head Crab from Half Life design of the GT AX6000. Mine in service almost a year, flawless on Merlin.

    What firmware are you using? Are you on wireless or using ethernet cables to game machine? (Ethernet is better). Sometimes it helps to change the name of the wireless SSIDs when you upgrade a router, using old name, sometimes the client expects something different than the new router's tech.
