    Firmware not updating

    I’ve tried a hard reset through the GUI and using the WPS button. I’ve updated the firmware with the laptop and it goes through the whole process, but still the firmware doesn’t show it was updated.

    Firmware not updating

    I did a factory reset on my AX86U and the firmware didn’t change. It’s currently Merlin firmware and I also tried uploading ASUS firmware and while it does go through the whole process nothing changes. Any other work arounds?

    I just made a post about the red light on my AX86U coming on. Same modem and ISP. Worked for two years and now the red light. A new AX86U is doing the same thing. Will try a firmware update.

    Asus RT AX86U developed a red light so no internet access. I did a factory reset and checked all cables and an older Asus router works. Bought a new Asus RT AX86U and it has the red light as well. Next step firmware. Any ideas?
