    I use the ASUS Device discovery tool. Here's the link in case you don't have it and use Windows: http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=RT-N66U%20%28VER.B1%29&os=29 I have the IP set automatically (default) under LAN-LAN IP, so it takes whatever IP the Parent router gives it.

    RMerlin, Thanks for you excellent reply. I now understand. For those interested, the repeater bridge is working for me. Once I changed to the repeater mode the router gave me the list of available SSIDs and I picked one and it worked. Only thing is I can't communicate with the router...

    Why do you use ASUSWRT-Merlin?

    1. Stability 2. Stealth on leds 3. Disk spin down Merlin does a great job with user refinements while keeping the Asus basics. Thanks Merlin! :)
