    AiMesh Starting router AC88U or 5300?

    Thanks for the help guys. I have run across a good deal on another AC3100. Would I be losing anything by just getting another 3100 for AiMesh vice buying an AC86U? I am not going to be using a VPN, I do plan on attaching a USB Hard Drive to stream from across the network. Thanks!!

    opinion

    I currently have the RT-AC66U and was looking at using the AC capabilities. Do you recommend I get another RT-AC66U set up in Bridge mode or get the Linksys WUMC710 bridge? Will be using this to stream HD movies and TV shows. Thanks for any opinions and responses that I can get.

    RT-AC66U will not see WAN connection

    After spending about 3 hours on the phone between ASUS and Tiime Warner Cable we didn't get anywhere other than to try and change out the modem. I finally went out and bought a motorola surfboard modem. Everything connected and has been rock solid since then.

    I left it unplugged overnight. Still won't connect. Just bought a Motorola surfboard modem. Hopefully that will work.

    I am using the included cat5e between modem and router and a cat 6 between router and computer. I tried multiple cables between each location including the previous cables in their original positions just with the new router.
