    Release New AX88U Firmware v3.0.0.4.386.41700

You never have to do this with real ASUS firmware. I would caution anyone from flowing these bogus instructions.

    Release New GT-AX11000 Firmware v3.0.0.4.386.41700

The link above crashed my computer, it might be a virus. This FW is not showing up on any official Asus site.

    AX11000 WAN Light RED

When Optimum was owned by the Dolan family it was a respectable company. When you would call them, you would talk to highly trained technicians and engineers. Today when you call, its just a call center somewhere in a third world country. They only training they have is how to upgrade your...

    AX11000 WAN Light RED

Does anyone know which modem with work with GIG Optimum (COAX not Fiber?) I am paying $15/month for this garbage. I also need to keep my land line which is coming off my modem.

    AX11000 WAN Light RED

I think its Optimum. Optimum has become the absolute worst cable company now that Alice took them over. Bunch of clowns.

    AX11000 WAN Light RED

    AX11000 WAN Light RED

This seems to have just started happening. The WAN light turns RED but there is no loss in connectivity. The WEB UI also shows WAN disconnected. The log has no entries in it. I did a ping -t from the router and no packets were dropped when the light was RED. When it turns RED it stays red for...

Two GT-AX11000 wired backhaul, can I use the 5GHz-2 on the node?

I hate to say it but this is a case of RTFM. If you are connecting two AX11000's , the primary one needs to connect to the secondary's WAN port (not the LAN port). If you connect LAN to LAN you lose wired backhaul. It will work but over the 5.2 band. What would be the point of doing that? The...

Having Speed issues with Asus gt-ax11000

Try looking at the driver on the computer instead of troubleshooting the router. They both have to talk to each other.

    ASUS GT-AX11000 Stock

What model are you referring to? The AX89X can possibly replace the AX88U but the AX11000 is tri band which the other two are not.

I tested with Note 9, Note 8, HP Envy laptop, and ASUS ROG laptop. Results consistent across all devices.

    GT-AX11000 Interesting Observation

I had two SSID's defined. One for 2.4, and one for both 5 gig channels. I was getting horrible download speeds on the 5ghz-2 channel but excellent on the 5ghz-1 channel. I changed the SSID on the 5Ghz-2 channel giving me 3 unique ID's. The speed is now fast on all three channels. Is there any...

    Mounting ax11000

If you recall, the RT-AC66U router was flat orientation with antennas facing vertical, the replacement , the RT-AC68U was vertical orientation, the antennas were still facing vertical. For the radiation pattern to be optimal, and the beam forming to be optimal, the antennas need to be vertical

    Mounting ax11000

You will get a signal mounted on the wall however it will be far from optimum. Then is the issue of the heat not getting out as the vent now is in the front and not the top. Heat rises , so now it's getting trapped in the case and very little is coming out of the top vent which is now a side vent.
