    Yes, it will be limited by the limitations of 2.0. However, due to the drop of speed as you distance yourself from the router, the USB 2.0 maximum rate may not be factored in.

    I have never heard of this YouTube IP issue before today. I always wondered why when I hit pause that the video didn't continue caching. Would be nice to have an on/off button in the firmware that activates this ip range blocking. Is that even possible do with the custom f/w's?

    So what you're saying is that I wouldn't necessarily get any faster speeds by using this over my current built in network card? Might have to wait until there's a USB 3.0 version.

    You may wish to visit the WDTV forums. I have seen this question many times over there which would lead me to believe it's an issue with the WDTV box more so than your actual router. I can't be certain, but it's worth a shot.

    Asus released a 802.11AC USB adapter, but it's USB 2.0. Is it possible to achieve speeds it's claiming on USB 2.0? I know it's new, but is there any reason to think that it would be better to hold off on this?
