    I have done that, and mapped the network drive. I then run my backup program, and it copies about 4% (about 400 files) of a total of 30Gb files, and then errors out when trying to write saying; "Access is denied" And the last error in the log file is; "Error writing Y:\My Music\iTunes\iTunes...

    Sorry for the dumb question, but if the HDD is hooked up through the USB of the router, how would I use a program to access the HDD through the router so it can read/write/delete to it?

    As the title says, I have a 2TB HDD on one of the USB ports, and just use it for the occasional backup. Is there a firmware version that will allow the Hdd to go into standby mode when it's not being used?
