Client list / status not working on 378.56_2

This just started happening with no new changes to the config. I tried resetting to the defaults and no change. No weird configuration, pretty basic setup. On the Network Map page, there's the Client status tab. Clicking on View List does nothing, but clicking on the computer icon brings up the...

    Home Lab VLAN Help

So to make sure I'm understanding the process of it, what about this hypothetical network: Router (VLAN 1, 192.168.1.1) to Switch Wireless Access Point plugged into the switch on a port on VLAN 3 Because the AP is on VLAN 3 on the switch, would it by default put the clients on VLAN 3 (and...

    Home Lab VLAN Help

Awesome response, that helped a lot. I have everything up and communicating with each other except for the DHCP. I'm not actually home so I can't test the DHCP just yet, I just want to make sure my theory is sound on this one. VLAN 1 is the network, wireless router Asus N66U 192.168.1.1 VLAN 2...

    Home Lab VLAN Help

I'm looking to get my hands dirty with the networking side of things and I would like to start playing with VLANs. I have: Cisco SG300 20 Port Switch (L3) Asus RT-N66U with ASUSWRT-Merlin (Allows static routes, should be all I need?) Server with 1 integrated NIC and 1 4-port Intel i350 NIC...

    Padavan's Custom Firmware

Has anyone had any problems with the 5GHz dropping off for a few seconds randomly (more so with torrents/transfers)? I tested it by doing a ping on a wired desktop and it did not drop out, so it's definitely the wireless.. This has been going on for the past couple Padavan firmwares, but this...

    VPN connection with Padavan FW

Ok those settings worked for my phone. I'll have to try the laptop when I get home. I had to enable the PPTP Alg, the other settings were enabled. The "Respond Ping Request from WAN" and "Enable Web Access From WAN" were both right on the money, too. Thanks for the help!

    VPN connection with Padavan FW

I can't connect on my phone, either. Pinging my no-ip.org host name comes back as timed out (though does hit the correct IP address). Is there any settings that need to be done inside the router, other than turning on and the DDNS? I couldn't get the ASUS DDNS to query at all. It would always...

    VPN connection with Padavan FW

I may be expecting something that can't be done, but here is my issue/question: I would like to set the router up to let me VPN into my home network remotely. I see the VPN client option in the router settings and I configured everything (and enabled), but I am unable to connect into the...
