    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.34 is out

Thanks for the new FW. Is it recommended to do factory reset moving from 3.0.0.4.374.33 to 3.0.0.4.374.34 on N66U?

Share your experiences running OpenVPN client on RT-N66U with Merlin FW

I offloaded both server and client to my PCs (i7-3770K and i7-920) and I can hit my 100Mbps connection limit. Looking into making pfsense build now. :)

Static routes not working as expected in Asuswrt-Merlin?

Hi, I successfully set up the OpenVPN server on my Windows PC behind N66U router. Initially, I also encountered the static routing issue as this thread mentioned. Creating the script to modify the rule as suggested solved the problem. Now, I need to set up another OpenVPN server on another PC...

    setting up opnvpn issue

I encountered this before. What I did wrongly was to copy everything inside the cert to the router. When I copied only the portion as following, it worked fine. This applied for all 3 certs.

    OpenVPN - WINS server

If I use IP address (such as \\192.168.2.5), it works fine. I've already pushed the WINS server to the clients. I ran ipconfig on...

OpenVPN - Fix IPs for client

Hi, I'm using N66U with Merlin build. My OVN is in TUN mode. I'm trying to fix IPs for all clients. So I created the ccd folder and all the files for clients. It worked fine. However, when I rebooted the router (or off and on the OVN server), all the files in ccd folder disappeared. I had to...

    OpenVPN - WINS server

Yeah. I forgot to mention. I also disabled and enabled back all ethernet adaptors after the changes on router. Ran "ipconfig -all" just to be sure too. Things work fine so far.

    OpenVPN - WINS server

I still need some time to verify it. It's not very stable for now. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Anyway, here is what I did: 1. Go to USB application --> Servers Center --> Miscellaneous settings --> Enable "Force as Master Browser" and "Set as WINS server" (if they are already...
