    GT-AX11000 -> No 160 Mhz on 5Ghz-2?

    I have the same problem, unable to get "Auto select channel including DFS channels" checkbox to stick, and can only have 20/40/80 on 5GHz-2. How did you get around this?

    RT-AC68U Repeater Mode

    I have experienced the same problem with the 384_10007 firmware for both the AC68U and AC86U. Neither Media Bridge nor Repeater functions work (as in connect once the wizard is completed), when I'm trying to connect to main router AC88U 5GHz on channel 48. The latest 382 firmware works...

    RT-AC88U

    tried that before, same outcome. one more point to add, another RT-AC68U is connected to the same 5GHz as a repeater, not sure if that contributes to this issue. The AC68U is generally stable in connectivity.

    RT-AC88U

    still waiting for a fix for this... on the latest firmware, the connection remains ok for a couple of days sometimes, but devices connected to the media bridge will eventually lose connectivity to the internet, even though the media bridge looks fine, and can still be accessed through the...

    RT-AC88U

    sigh, v2064 doesn't seem to eliminate the troubles of a RT-AC88U in media bridge mode while connected to a RT-AC88U in router mode.

    RT-AC88U

    I had the same issues, waiting for further firmware updates before using it again. And my main router is a RT-AC88U as well, so I would have thought that would have minimise issues. Using a RT-AC68U as the media bridge now, rock solid.

    RT-AC88U

    anyone using an AC88 as a media bridge, with another AC88 as AP? the media bridge would eventually lose connection with the AP, LEDs are all showing up fine, and a power cycle will fix it.

    New firmware - RT-ac68u - Version 3.0.0.4.374.454

    definitely do understand, at no point in time did I think that you were being argumentative! in fact, I think you already hit the nail on the head, when you said "I could understand the mismatch that would occur if the new firmware was missing parameters or had additional settings that were not...

    New firmware - RT-ac68u - Version 3.0.0.4.374.454

    nvram, as it's name suggest, retains all information when powered off. hence I do not thing your first assumption is correct, that a restart of the router reloads the nvram. my best guess is that a firmware flash doesn't resets nvram (since all pertinent settings in the GUI still persist)...

    [RT-AC68U] A dose of Quicksilver

    Thanks! I was on 205, it's just that re-keying in all the port forwarding is a pain... :p
